SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE

Reporting to one of Regal Rexnord's three segment Presidents, the VP of Regal Rexnord Business Systems (RBS) will be an experienced senior leader focused on the development, deployment, and evolution of RBS across the segment to drive short and long-term strategic goals. The Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) is a holistic approach to increase profitable growth through customer focus and optimal efficiency in our operations through process improvement. RBS relies heavily on continuous improvement tools to transform our businesses and meet strategic and financial objectives. This person will collaborate with key business leaders and VP/GMs to drive continuous improvement culture through establishing standards and ensuring effective problem-solving skills driving growth. The VP RBS will lead by example and demonstrate company core values.

Depending on the segment, the VP of RBS will lead continuous improvement efforts for a business of $1.8B to $2.7B in revenue, with between 15 and 60 manufacturing sites globally.

The right candidate will drive a culture of continuous improvement while achieving year-over-year performance improvement. As a key member of the multi-billion dollar segment leadership team, this role will impact results and culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing management systems and ensuring effective problem-solving skills (& tool capability) across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Continuous Improvement & Effective Problem Solving

  • Support the organization in achieving SQDC and financial objectives through effective application of the Regal Rexnord Business System tools and methodologies to achieve continuous improvement.

  • Lead and drive Policy Deployment and CI Roadmaps for the Division. Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics.

  • Coach, mentor, and train Regal Rexnord teammates on continuous improvement methods based on Subject Matter Expertise. Ability to both formally train and "stop and teach" while at Gemba.

  • Ability to lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously though both a hands-on and influential approach.

P&L Leadership Business Partner

  • Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Garner followership across the organization to progress the transformation to achieve the future state.

  • Create and deploy standard work across the segment.

Talent Management

  • Identify, coach, and develop talent across the division to leverage RBS Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance.

  • Assess the operational performance of the IPS leaders and ensure strong selection of talent.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in engineering) required, and advanced degree (MS Engineering, MBA, etc.)preferred

  • 8-10+ years relevant work experience across Continuous Improvement, Operations and General Management Positions (multi-site management preferred)

  • Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, Visual Daily Management, Kanban/Replenishment systems, FMEA, Advanced Problem Solving

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate Kaizen-type events to produce measurable improvements (financial, service, quality, etc.)

  • Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions

  • Leadership skills to develop and mentor cross functional teams for Continuous Improvement journey

  • Financial and Operational experience to support demand/supply pipeline

  • Policy Deployment and strategic planning experience

  • Strongly preferred: The ideal candidate will be able to relocate to Milwaukee, Wisconsin (relocation assistance provided)

  • Flexibility for traveling 50% - 75% of the time
