The Academy of Advanced Manufacturing is focused on the "people" aspect of the brand promise - addressing the need for highly trained workforce for the digital manufacturing environment. The Academy of Advanced Manufacturing is an innovative technical training program to rapidly upskill U.S. military veterans for in-demand technician roles in manufacturing. We are looking for a Technical Instructor for the Academy of Advanced Manufacturing, that will be partner with partners to deliver technical training and feedback to participants to enable future work as automation technicians. You will collaborate with important program partners. You will be focused on supporting the AAM veteran's program, and supporting expansion of AAM program offerings. You will work in a hybrid environment and report to the Supervisor, Global Program Delivery. Role Responsibilities: Educational: The Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM) Instructor manages a learning environment to ensure positive trainee outcomes. The Instructor will facilitate lectures and support labs in alignment with pre-defined learning objectives and conduct remediation to support leaner success. Team Engagement: The instructor is responsible to work closely with other AAM Staff (Core Team) and Shared Labor resources to deliver technical training while maintaining a professional environment with clear performance expectations. The instructor will participate in trainee feedback sessions and coach trainees in real time on performance and conduct issues. If necessary, the instructor will escalate performance and conduct issues to the program Supervisors. Program Development: As training curriculum subject matter expert (SME), the instructor will work on projects and activities to develop, refine, correct, and expand AAM curriculum for successful delivery of the program and expand delivery markets for Rockwell Automation.
