They will cut, shape, finish, and maintain tools made of metal and will forge diecasts to create molds. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Stamina - employee is expected to work 8-hour shifts with occasional overtime. Mostly standing, walking and some bending. Lifting - may be required intermittently. Must be able to lift from 0-60 lbs. Overhead Work - may be required intermittently. Hand/Eye Coordination - the operator will be required to assemble products using autowinders, mold equipment, deflashers, lasers, testers, epoxies, winding equipment, cutters, splicers, etc. used in inductor and transformer type operations. Good hand/eye coordination a must. Bending - some periodic bending is required for completing duties as assigned. Squat - may be required intermittently. Kneel - may be required intermittently. Twist & Turn - employee is required to twist and turn to complete all tasks as assigned. Must be able to reason, understand, carryout daily tasks and functions prescribed by supervisor and work procedures assigned either individually or in cell/team environment. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and all written work procedures, guidelines. Must be capable of reading and interpreting customer specifications and general instructions from engineering and/or manufacturing personnel. Must be able to perform any and all other duties of the job as assigned. Reasonable accommodation will be considered when and if necessary. The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general work instructions, standard work, customer documentation and other Regal Rexnord - Delevan materials. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to use a calculator and perform basic mathematical calculations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
