High School Math Tutor: Full-Time, Akron Area

Position Overview:
As a High School Math Tutor at PSI, you will:

• Develop lesson plans aligned with Ohio State Standards to deliver Math instruction.
• Provide additional support and individualized instruction to high school students.
• Collaborate with intervention specialists and general education teachers to ensure instructional plans meet the needs of students, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and instructional strategies.

A Day in the Life:
As a Tutor, you'll work directly with students who need extra support in Math. You will travel to schools or provide one-on-one instruction, tailoring lessons to meet each student's academic needs. Collaborating with educators and parents, you'll help ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Ohio Teaching License (issued by ODE) - Required.
• Bachelor's Degree - Required.
• Experience in math instruction preferred.
