Job Overview
Collaborates with the family, physicians, schools, and other providers to ensure the continuum of care for the child and optimal clinical services. Provides consultation and education to other professionals and families as necessary. Completes written documentation in accordance with department standards for format, location, and time frames. Independently evaluates patients with a variety of diagnosis, in specialized programs, on inpatient and/or outpatient units. Incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services. Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets. Demonstrates leadership and participates in systematic, planned professional development to improve the clinical, educational, research, and advocacy goals of the department and hospital. Provides consultation and education to families. Treat children across the continuum, with a variety of diagnoses, in specialized programs on inpatient and outpatient units and in the community. Incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services. Seeks out appropriate mentoring/training and consults with relative Program Coordinator and/or assigned mentor for complex patient diagnoses. We are seeking a Neuro Physical Therapist to join our team at our Telstar location in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Department Name: Telstar Physical Therapy Job Status: 22 hours/week Shift: This could be two 11-hour days on Thursday and Friday from 7am to 6pm. It could also 3pm to 6pm Monday and 3-7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 11-6 on Fridays OR it could be Monday from 2-6pm, Thursday 9-6pm and Friday 9 to 6pm.
Qualifications
EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field of study CERTIFICATION(S) - BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR LICENSURE - State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Physical Therapist license; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment 1 year of PT experience is preferred. This position has been defined and is governed by the Children's Hospital Colorado Medical Staff bylaws, continuation of employment is contingent upon the review and approval of the Colorado Health Care Professionals Credential Application within 3 months of employment. Failure to successfully pass the credentialing process may result in the termination of your employment. Such positions include: Advanced Practice Providers, licensed professional counselors, or Adjunct Medical Staff.

- Evaluation/Re-evaluations: Independently evaluates children from birth to 21 years of age, with a variety of diagnosis, in specialized programs, on inpatient and/or outpatient units. Incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services.
- Financial Responsibility: Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets.
- Leadership and/or Professionalism- Demonstrates professional behaviors; adheres to hospital and departmental policies and promotes personal and departmental development through participation in development activities to improve the patient experience and quality goals of the department and hospital. Provides clinical supervision as needed/when appropriate for physical therapy clinical interns.
- Treatment- Treat children across the continuum, with a variety of diagnoses, in specialized programs on inpatient and outpatient units and in the community. Incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services. Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $78,659.24 to $117,988.86 Hourly Salary Range: $37.82 to $56.73
