Commercial Lending Assistant I - 19 Palmer St, Lowell, MA

What You'll Do:

Administrative Support: Supports a team of Commercial Lending Officers by providing telephone coverage, coordinating and preparing customer mailings, and scheduling appointments. Ensure loan files have the appropriate documentation and provides copies of applicable documents to customers and Credit Department. Exceeds customer expectations by following the guidelines outlined in the Customer Experience Program and resolves customer problems working with the Commercial Lending Officers. Performs all duties consistent with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations as well as Bank policies. Performs other related duties as assigned

Lending Support: Pull various reports such as Note Ticklers, Past Due Loans, DDL, and Notes coming due. Reviews customer deposit account overdrafts and works with Commercial Lending Officers to process appropriately. Runs credit reports on loan applicants. Types loan write-ups and commitment term sheets, rejection, or renewal letters. Requests loan documents, prepares packages for loan closings, and processes tickets when necessary. Assists Commercial Lending Officers with collecting missing documentation and financial update requests. Processes account transfers, loan advances, loan pay downs, and loan payoffs. Ensures UCCs are filed after loans are closed.

This position is Hybrid or Onsite. Candidates from MA, NH, and ME only.

Requirements:



  • Associates degree in Business Administration;
  • One to three years related experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
