Description

We are looking for a Talent Advisor with full cycle recruiting experience, from working with the business to identify needs, sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great potential employees. To succeed in this role, you should be able to effectively collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis, acting as a true strategic Recruiting partner. You should also be able to attract candidates from multiple sources including Employee Referrals, passive online sourcing, and other creative pipelines. You will play a key role in finding the very best talent that will contribute towards the growth of our business.

*This role has the potential to work virtually and can be filled near any BC office, preference of Denver, Phoenix, Saint Paul, Atlanta, Sacramento, San Diego, Nashville, or Philadelphia.

Our Talent Advisors play an essential role in representing our company to candidates. We expect nothing but the best when it comes to your work, and you will own the following areas:



  • Effectively engage business in pre-funnel workforce planning, community engagement, passive candidate conversation, EVP awareness.


  • Leverage insights into market realities-talent availability, market salaries, target company offerings, target geos, immigration and relocation challenges, diversity availability, etc.-to set expectations with and make data-informed recommendations to our hiring managers and execs.
  • Establish our credibility and confidently help our hiring managers optimize speed, quality, and diversity by leveraging historical sourcing, time in stage, funnel, offer, and diversity ROI data from prior internal recruiting successes to shape our strategy and process recommendations.
  • Leverage a quality, two-way conversation pre-sourcing to convert job descriptions into hiring criteria, align on the target candidate profiles, strategy, and process, and set expectations on trade-offs needed, our roles, and timeline expectations.
  • Build and communicate a pragmatic sourcing strategy that leverages the highest ROI sources for each role or job family.
  • Effectively engage the Hiring Manager in networking/referrals and selling activities.
  • Co-build and recommend an interviewing plan and process that includes the right type and number of interviewers and aligns our interviewing team on hiring criteria, focus areas, and the sell.
  • Facilitate transparent, rigorous, evidence-based hiring decision making processes to ensure fair, objective hiring decisions.
  • Effectively engage hiring teams to help close top talent. Pre-close candidates, hiring managers, compensation/HR to ensure offers are competitive.


  • Lead Recruiting efforts respective to your aligned business group
  • Cultivate different sources of talent and maintain an outbound and active presence in the development of a pipeline. Identify unique and non-traditional sources for finding candidates.
  • Develop leading-edge methods to attract strategic and diverse talent. Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management.
  • Work with managers to ensure an understanding of job duties, job responsibilities, and required/desired skills for open positions.
  • Look internally for opportunities to move internal talent into new opportunities, assignments
  • Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios.
  • Participate in and lead special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings


Desired Skills and Experience:



  • Minimum of 8 years of corporate recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting (emphasis on recruiting engineering candidates preferred).
  • Recruiting experience with Engineering and Design candidates in the Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil/Structural areas preferred.
  • Experienced in all full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to: req creation, sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, assessing candidates, job analysis, wage and salary trends and relationship management.
  • Recognized as a highly consultative, top producing recruiter, seen as an innovator, and proactive with process improvements and bottom line results.
  • Ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level.
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills in order to interface with all levels of management.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess strong independent as well as collaborative problem-solving skills and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
  • Must maintain high level of discretion and confidentiality.



Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A:
Salary $106,000 - $145,000

Location B:
Salary: $117,000 - $160,000

Location C:
Salary: $128,000 - $174,000
