Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Manager, Structural Engineering

Location(s): Northeast Philadelphia, PA, with less than 20% domestic and international travel

Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)

Highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for aerospace engineering. The optimal candidate will provide engineering support to the Customization & Maintenance Engineer office activities to meet company's safety and quality standards within the allocated costs and in a timely manner. The candidate should be able to manage the design of smaller and larger helicopter components with a high quality of details following the classic GD&T procedure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Specifically describe the essential duties and responsibilities with estimated percentage of time that is spent on each).

1.	Coordinating the design of complex assembly and parts to fulfil the customer needs, from the conceptual phase to a fully detailed 2D drawing	60%
2.	Leading and mentoring younger engineers to coordinate workload	30%
3.	Supporting the STC process of brand new or existing STCs	10%

Qualifications for Position:

A. Education

Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Master Preferred)

B. Experience

At least 6 (senior) years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace. Combination of education and/or experience which would permit performance of essential duties and responsibilities.

C. Competencies & Attributes

1.	Languages: English (mandatory) Italian (Intermediate, preferred)
2.	IT skills: Catia (preferred), SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, SAP (preferred)
3.	Soft Skills: Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment and to interface with different stakeholders
