Organizational Unit Overview
The Academic Affairs Division supports the mission of the Brody School of Medicine by encouraging excellence and innovation in teaching, research/scholarship, student development and community engagement as we strive to prepare students for a lifetime of professional and community contributions. BSOM's faculty and staff include outstanding physicians and scientists all of whom are enthusiastically committed to providing BSOM's student with a quality medical education. This mission of the Office of Student Affairs is to create a supportive environment in which medical student may develop personally and professionally, and to maintain records of students' accomplishments toward their medical school requirements.
Job Duties
Brody School of Medicine's Department of Academic Affairs, Office of Student Affairs, is seeking to fill their full-time Foundational Support Coordinator position.

This position assumes primary responsibilities for facilitating implementation of the programs and student success on a day-to-day basis, reviews materials, ensures that essential deadlines are met, and coordinates with team members to ensure coordinated effective delivery; orchestrates logistics for activities and programs such as Career Tasters, Careers in Medical Education, and Student Organizations (this includes the development, marketing and promotion, implementation and evaluation); serves as an academic and personal development liaison to M1/M2 students; and independently plans First Year events: White Coat Ceremony, M1 Orientation, M2 Orientation, Financial Wellness Program for M1 and M2 students, and other foundational sciences related programs.
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
License or Certification required by statute or regulation
None
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Student Affairs experience or demonstrated experience with program management in higher education context.
License or Certification required by the Department
