Job Description
Support digital marketing strategies for the Experiential Learning Unit at NKU, reporting to Scripps Howard Center. Create professional content for social media channels, website content, and promotional materials going out to campus. The position could include audio/video recording, editing for short-form content lending consistent messaging across platforms and mediums regarding campus and community events and internship information.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Create short-form videos, tagging, and subtitles for use in social media and web platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and a website.
  • Manages digital media and content management platforms as needed.
  • Collaborates with team members on targeted marketing activities.
  • Write social media copy.
  • Ensure accessibility, accuracy, length, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Shooting content on-location (campus).
  • Create digital graphics to promote a wide range of events, concepts, and division content.
  • Student will learn Social Media scheduling, environment scanning, content creation, messaging and promotional marketing

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
General - Ability to meet deadlines and fast turnaround times, strong self- and time-management. Able to work alone and dependability is a must.
Skill - video editing including sub captioning and title creation, steady video creation including lighting and sound capture, ability to shoot on-location and assist with video creation
Physical - ability to stand for 2 hours and lift 25 lbs
Academic - enrolled in an internship course preferably in a major for which content creation is a major or minor skill needed
Additional Desirable Qualifications: understanding of Adobe Premiere, photography, Canva

Any candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
