Job Description

The Sr. Director of OCI Sales & Alliance responsible for leading revenue growthand expanding DDN's strategic alliance with OCI. This role focuses on co-developing, marketing, and executing go-to-market strategies to drive joint business outcomes, revenue growth, and solution adoption. The Director will be the key point of contact between DDN and OCI, ensuring alignment across technical, sales, and marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Alliance Leadership:

    Own the strategic relationship with OCI, ensuring mutual business growth and shared goals.
  • Identify new joint opportunities to integrate DDN's solutions with OCI services, particularly in AI, ML, and big data.
  • Lead the development of joint solutions and initiatives that address customer needs and drive co-innovation between DDN and OCI.

Programmatic GTM:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product management, and engineering) to create and execute GTM strategies that generate demand, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of joint marketing programs and events to promote the partnership.
  • Develop joint customer success stories, use cases, and case studies that demonstrate the value of the DDN-OCI collaboration.

Drive Revenue:

  • Enable DDN and OCI sales teams with training, tools, and resources to effectively sell joint solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with OCI field sales teams, supporting co-selling and deal closure.
  • Drive the execution of joint revenue and pipeline, ensuring alignment on target industries and customer segments.

Partnership Growth:

  • Track and manage key performance metrics, including pipeline, revenue, and market penetration for joint solutions.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring long-term success and mutual benefit.
  • Stay current with OCI's product roadmap and strategic initiatives to align DDN's offerings.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary advocate for the partnership within DDN, ensuring internal stakeholders are aligned with the partnership strategy.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to executive leadership on the status, progress, and future growth opportunities of the partnership.
  • Foster strong relationships with OCI executives and senior management to facilitate ongoing collaboration and high-level engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in sales, strategic alliances, business development, or partner management, ideally within the cloud computing or data storage industries.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data management, AI/ML, and HPC solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex partnerships and delivering revenue growth through go-to-market initiatives.
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams toward shared objectives.
  • Experience working with or within OCI or other leading cloud platforms is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
