Southwire Job Description

As part of a growing construction services and solutions team, the Electrical Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction services on complex commercial and industrial projects. You will work effectively with team members to ensure flawless execution that meets and exceeds customer expectations. This person will ensure a positive and productive work environment and will provide leadership in the areas of safety, quality, service and cost through a ONE Southwire approach.

* Promote safety in the workplace and all project sites using Southwire Culture of ZERO philosophy.
* Collaborate with electrical contractor clients, working closely with project superintendents, and project executives to plan and execute a cost effective and efficient electrical wiring solution utilizing state-of-the art means and methods.
* Coordinate and review work performed by services team to assure accuracy and completeness.
* Analyze, and evaluate complex construction design drawings and specifications and develop best practices installation methods.
* Effectively manage all aspects of project delivery including pricing, resource allocation, design assistance, scheduling, change management, planning, and project P&L.
* Prioritize tasks and resources in order to maximize efficiency and best use of available resources.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and communicate timely and effectively.

Preferred
Minimum Education Level: Associates

Specialized Degree: Electrical engineering / design
% of Time: Up to 25%
