SUMMARY

$130.00 PER TRANSPORT

This is a part-time position that requires you to be on-call for rotating shifts. The shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. At the specific direction of the Deputy Coroner, the transporter will be required to respond to any location throughout Montgomery County for a body removal (i.e., private residence, nursing home, hospital, etc.). Vehicles, transport equipment, and personal protective equipment will be provided to you, along with training.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or GED;

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age;

  • Must have a valid PA driver's license;

  • Must have a clear driving record in the past (3) three years;

  • Required to undergo a criminal background check and drug testing administered by the Montgomery County Coroner's office;

  • Must dress in appropriate attire at all times, some clothing will be provided;

  • Must project a professional demeanor at all times.
