Read more about us at venicefamilyclinic.org Join our dedicated and caring team of professionals and make a difference in the communities we serve as a Substance Use, Motivation, Medication Integrated Treatment (SUMMIT) SUD Counselor. This social work associate role will receive guidance and direction from our SUMMIT Director of Behavioral Health Services and SUMMIT Manager of Behavioral Health Services, and will develop and implement treatment plans with patients who use substances while utilizing a harm reduction approach to care. The SUMMIT SUD Counselor will provide a variety of interventions including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and other relevant harm reduction-related services to clients. This position plays a vital part in helping to bring the concepts of harm reduction to the clinic, the patients and the community.
