Apply Viterbi School of Engineering Los Angeles, California The Viterbi School of Engineering's Office of Research (VOR) seeks to recruit a Senior PreAward Administrator to play a critical role as a senior proposal development expert. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted research administration professional within VOR and the Viterbi community, demonstrating capacity for working with diverse sponsor and proposal types and providing the highest level of service to faculty in preparing grant proposals for timely submission. As an integral part of the research administration community and in support of the School's overall research mission, this position requires an unwavering commitment to service and excellence in a demanding, deadline-driven environment. This position will focus on proposal review (quality assurance) and serve as a subject matter expert for all matters in proposal development. It requires working closely and serving as a liaison for faculty and staff within the School and across campus to meet proposal objectives and submission deadlines. Excellent communication skills, adaptability and flexibility to accommodate ongoing changes to internal and external policies and regulations; composure and diplomacy in facilitating short lead times on proposal or project deliverables; balancing conflicting priorities; and contributing and adjusting to a continuously evolving environment are vital. Additional Information: This is a hybrid position with possibility of fully remote. All remote staff are expected to attend occasional meetings and activities as required by their supervisor and/or department. The annual base salary range for this position is $ 98,186.70 - 115,036.01 USD annually.
