Dr. Forrest and Associates is currently looking for an Associate Optometrist in Tampa, Florida. We are searching for a dedicated Optometrist with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills who is committed to patient care. The ideal candidate will provide the highest level of care and a wide range of services to promote eye health and lifelong vision for our patients. Applicants must be licensed to practice optometry in Florida. For those relocating, Tampa Bay is a wonderful place to live and work, with beautiful beaches such as Clearwater and St. Pete nearby. Tampa also has attractions like the Riverwalk, as well as top-rated schools including Plant High School and the University of South Florida. About Us:

Our practice specializes in providing comprehensive medical care, focusing on eye health. We take pride in offering personalized contact lens fitting to ensure comfort and clarity tailored to individual needs. Equipped with the latest technology, including OCT and retinal imaging, our office provides precise diagnostics and care for all patients. We use the Revolution EHR system for seamless record-keeping, and each exam room features large 27-inch monitors to enhance patient interaction. Our dedicated team of technicians handles pretesting, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional patient care. We aim to create a supportive work environment, including a desirable work-life balance and flexibility in scheduling. Our goal is to enhance flexibility further in the future, allowing our team to thrive both personally and professionally while contributing to our practice's success. We are conveniently located inside a Visionworks store, so patients do not go far to get the complete, professional eye care they deserve.

Salary:

$650 per day plus bonus.

What You'll Do:

The position is a part time opportunity, and could potentially be full time. In this role, you will provide patient care to an average of 17 to 22 patients* per day. Our skilled technicians handle all pretesting efficiently, allowing you to focus solely on providing excellent patient care without the pressure of managing pre-exam tasks. Our streamlined process allows for comprehensive examinations and meaningful interactions with each patient, ensuring a high-quality experience for everyone.
