Director of Marketing FLSA Status: Exempt Reports to: Vice President Enrollment & Marketing Job Status: Full-time Amount of Travel: Less than 5% POSITION SUMMARY As part of the marketing leadership team, works to establish and maintain brand positioning and build brand equity, strategically plan and project manage all marketing and advertising initiatives. This includes but is not limited to enhancing the brand image and facilitating engagement with Loras' diverse client base, including alumni, donors, parents, community members, and current and prospective students, and effectively build public relationships with the community on a local and regional basis. Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Manage internal communication to college community. Promote engagement of the College community with local, regional and discipline-based communities (National Associations). Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree required Experience: Minimum 4 years experience in marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and technical marketing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords), Wordpress, and CRM systems. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively and write for various platforms both long and short form. Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. Creative Thinking: Innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically to drive marketing initiatives. Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer behavior and the ability to create marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.
