About the role:

As part of the Indirect Sourcing organization, the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager develops and implements sourcing strategies that result in a sustainable competitive advantage for the Global IT category, while managing critical activities to reduce costs without compromising quality. In this highly visible position, the incumbent will build and leverage relationships between suppliers and BSC sites, divisions and regional sourcing teams, and partner with IT leadership to achieve organizational and functional goals.NOTE: This position is hybrid, which will require you to work on-site at least three days a week.

Your Responsibilities will include:



  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting.
  • Manage supplier performance, relationships, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Perform cost optimization and comparative analysis to ensure cost-effective sourcing
  • Establishing cross-functional teams to support project timelines, manage cost and achieve company performance goals
  • Strategically influence and build relationships with outside suppliers and respective internal leads to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Conducting periodic market analysis of rates and other commercial terms
  • Negotiating new agreements and SOWs in support of key sourcing areas
  • Building and developing effective partnerships with IT managers and business owners



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing
  • Experience with project management and contract negotiations
  • Experience managing ambiguous situations with conflict resolution skills; strong interpersonal skills


Preferred qualifications:



  • Master's degree in any discipline
  • 3 years of experience sourcing for IT solutions (i.e. hardware, software and services)
  • Professional certification in supply chain management (CPMS, MCIPS or equivalent)
  • Strong negotiation, project management and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
