POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc a wholly owned company of Afognak Native Corp. has an opportunity for an Operations Manager. This is a remote opportunity.The Operations Manager is responsible for multiple locations nationwide. The Operations Manager is responsible to the Program Manager for the scheduling, operations, staff training and quality of the service provided to the Airbus facilities located throughout the United States. The Operations Manager is responsible for the hiring and staffing at all supported facilities. The Operations Manager will coordinate with the Program Manager on all matters concerning the discipline and corrective actions of employees and has the authority to exercise these actions.



  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels at all facilities under their control
  • Ensure Quality of Service provided exceeds contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Training Manager to ensure all employees maintain all certifications, qualifications and contract required training.
  • Manage the process of Visitor Requests to include background vetting
  • Manage Users and Groups within the Security System
  • Manage the Manufacturing and Issuance of site identification and access badges
  • Manage the access control process using an Electronic Security System granting/denying access to the specific areas
  • Manage the process of registration and Issuance of short-term and long-term vehicle passes
  • Manage the Manufacturing and Issuance of Photography Permits
  • Manage the Electronic filing system of all visitors and permanently assigned personnel
  • Manage a broad spectrum of Networking components which includes PoE switching and IP cameras.
  • Applicant must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Applicant must have demonstrated effective leadership and team-building skills.
  • Applicant should have experience in labor relations, logistics, and communications. Applicant must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writing skills.
  • The Operations Manager will be the primary responsible person for all physical security functions at the Airbus facilities under their control; these include - Access & Visitor Control, Patrol & Response, Surveillance & Alarm Systems.


Payrate:$65,000 to $75,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the law enforcement, security management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Law enforcement and or security support services of ten plus (10+) may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of access control systems and of protection criteria for sensitive/classified materials and facilities. The candidate must show the ability to supervise subordinates in an effective and professional manner.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Must have demonstrated effective leadership and team-building skills.
  • Should have experience in labor relations, logistics, and communications.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writingskills.
