Wilson Elser's Charlotte office is currently seeking a Senior General Liability Attorney with experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 8+ years of litigation experience, to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in-house counsel, the attorney in this role will have the exciting opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients that we represent, as well as with teams of our own talented, experienced professionals.

This is a hybrid position, offering great flexibility.

Qualifications



  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in North Carolina
  • 8+ years of general liability litigation experience
  • Taking lead responsibility in responding to clients and carriers
  • Supervising and reviewing Associates' legal work
  • Superior communication, writing, and research skills
  • Legal project management experience is helpful


Responsibilities



  • Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
  • Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
  • Communicate with clients and provide status reports
