Job Description: Position Overview: The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Manager at LAX Airport is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repair of all ground support equipment utilized by AGI. The GSE Manager ensures that the equipment is safe, reliable, and operational to meet the demands of airline and airport services. This role requires effective leadership, equipment management expertise, and a focus on safety and efficiency within a fast-paced airport environment. Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ground support equipment management, aviation operations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of GSE maintenance procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position based at LAX Airport.
- May require working weekends, holidays, and being on-call for emergency repairs or equipment issues.
