Position Overview


Primary Purpose of Position
The Project Director is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of current and prospective grant funders that align with the Student Health Center's priorities.

The Project Director is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, implementing and continuously reviewing and analyzing the project; this includes ensuring that the project complies with funders requirements, overseeing the daily operations of the project, including timely implementation of all required activities, as detailed in the grant proposal and/or grant agreement or contract.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Mission of the Student Health Center is to provide patient centered, holistic health care services to the students of North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.

Our services are rendered in accordance with evidence-based practices and medical guidelines which help to improve the students' physical and mental well-being.

Through our care, we aim to prevent or reduce student time lost from academic and extracurricular activities. Our educational programs aspire to engage our students and provide information and resources to enhance their lifestyles and reinforce behavior that will sustain them far beyond their matriculation through North Carolina A&T State University.

Our intent is to improve the quality of life for the North Carolina A&T State University community. The consummate goal of the Student Health Center is to maintain healthy students and a healthy student environment in which our students can achieve their educational goals.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree and one (1) years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of related experience; Knowledge and understanding of college organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures; Experience planning, coordinating and organizing complex, multi activity projects (preferable in education setting); Ability to manage multiple competing priorities; Ability to develop cooperative relationships among faculty, staff, administration, and college leadership; Experience working with federal grant programs.
Ability to analyze correct accounting and financial errors. Experience in conducting program evaluation, administration and monitoring of contracts and grants.

This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
