Overview
The Department of Buildings & General Services (BGS) is seeking a full-time Digital Printing Technician II. This position will be cross-trained and will regular rotate through duties within a print/finish environment. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
The schedule is 9:15am to 6pm, with a scheduled 45 minute lunch. Who May Apply
This position,Digital Printing Technician II (Job Requisition #51319), is open to all State employees and external applicants. Class Definition
Printing, coping, finishing, scanning services for a department or agency of State government. Duties involve operation and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment. Work is performed under the supervision of the Night Shift Supervisor, Support Services Assistant Manager and/or Support Services Manager Environmental Factors
Work is performed in an area with high noise levels and under the pressure of deadlines and shifting priorities. Lifting of heavy boxes of paper and other work related objects is necessary. Manual dexterity is needed to operate equipment. The inevitable exposure to inks and other print materials may cause soiling of clothing. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent AND one (1) year or more of experience in the operation of commercial type duplicating/printing equipment, or in a production environment, or with equipment maintenance and repair and services in a production environment. Total Compensation
