Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Technology Transfer Representative, supporting the Space Division at the Kennedy Space Center, FL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, business, or marketing
  • Knowledge of patent licensing
  • Excellent Networking and communication skills
  • Presentation development
  • Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and be able to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Experience with university engagement and promoting technology licensing

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate meetings (in person and virtual) with PI's and research teams in an effort to commercialize their technologies through NASA's Technology Transfer Program
  • Help with the development of educational presentations briefs for inreach and outreach research companies, universities, and startup organizations in specific regions of the southeast to gauge their interest in NASA's Technology Transfer Program.
  • Coordinate meetings (in person and virtual) with companies, universities, and startup organizations in an effort to promote NASA's Technology Transfer Program.
  • Verify Kennedy Space Center's (KSC) New Technology Reports (NTR) submitted by Center employees through the NASA eNTR online system
  • Gather new invention disclosures
  • Assist with developing marketing assessments
  • Assist with gathering information for patent applications
  • Communication with contractors once contracts are awarded and follow up to make sure interim and final deliverables are met
  • Coordinate various grants-related activities, and work with scientists and engineers on technology development.
