Researcher (Part-Time, Temporary)

General Summary of Position:

The position focuses on the thermal and electrical characterization of advanced protective textiles, with the goal of evaluating and improving their performance under various conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to assess the thermal insulation, electrical conductivity, and durability of these textiles. This role will also involve analyzing data, optimizing material properties, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance the development of protective clothing for various industrial, military, and safety applications.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):



  • A degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, textile engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in thermal and electrical testing techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative research environment.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Candidates with degree in Mechanical, Energy Engineering, or close degrees are encouraged to apply.
  • The successful candidate will also have at least three peer-reviewed scientific journal/conference papers.
