Duties, Responsibilities & Other

This CM position will focus primarily on macro sites but may also be involved with small cell sites, the modification of existing telecommunications facilities and other project types as required. Direct project responsibilities will focus on SOW reviews, quoting, scheduling, financials, personnel management, project production and reporting. Additional responsibilities will include mentorship and training.

    Candidate should have 5 - 9 years of experience in Wireless Construction
  • Tower background preferred.
  • Oversee multiple crews performing Wireless cell site construction.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, PIM & sweep testing and closeout documents.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand construction plans, specifications and procedures.
  • Candidate will be responsible for documentation of daily construction activities.
  • Candidate must be a strong leader with the ability to manage and mentor subordinate staff.
  • Responsible for project scoping, permitting, materials, construction schedules, expenses, quality, safety and deployment.
  • Responsible for working with subcontractor teams in the field on scheduling and implementation.
  • Attend deployment calls, participate in sites walks and customer meetings. Develop correspondence and resolve conflicts.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate and budget all activities associated with the construction and maintenance.
  • Problem solving and analytics will be employed and shared with the team.
  • Mechanical aptitude is desired.
  • Quality control site construction work to ensure tasks are completed in accordance with construction standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Project tracking and closeouts.
  • Maintain internal and client databases, plus project trackers as required to support projects.
  • Provide guidance, best practices and lessons learned to the extended teams.
  • Ability to follow instructions, possess the ability to be trained, mentored and have a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel. Field work will be required. Position may require overnight travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • High School diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

  • BS or AAS in the engineering and/or professional engineer registration a plus.. Degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
  • 2- 4 years of experience required.
