This position is located in Elgin, IL and requires an onsite presence 5 days per week.

Education and Critical Skills/Experience - Distribution Lead


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • Minimum two years' distribution, warehouse, or related experience required

  • Picker truck experience required

  • Certified power equipment operator: experience with forklift, stand up reach lift, order picker and turret truck required

  • Experience working in an environment with global objectives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English



Main Responsibilities - Distribution Lead


  • Responsible for the replenishment of all warehouse areas, following verbal and written instructions.

  • Directly oversee material handlers following verbal and written department procedures, work aids, work orders, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and/or procedure manuals ("Instructions")

  • Responsible for training and enforcing department Instructions

  • Responsible for assuring that proper documentation and inventories are maintained following Instructions

  • Assures that all inventory transfers are completed accurately and in real-time per Instructions

  • Maintains all production metrics and records per Instructions

  • Responsible for developing cross-training and staffing plans for the lines



  • Complies with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations

  • Follows all Company rules and regulations, including health and safety rules

  • Regular, reliable performance of all job duties

  • Performs all other duties as assigned or as may be required from time to time



Physical Demands - Distribution Lead


  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds

  • Repetitive physical motions, use of hands to assemble and place parts into packaging, and operate machinery for substantial periods of time



Environmental Conditions - Distribution Lead


  • Indoors, warehouse environment with significant exposure to excessive noise, dust, or temperature changes
