We have a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse that is interested in Infection Prevention. If you have a background in Public Health and/or Infection Prevention, we would love to talk with you! As an Infection Control Registered Nurseyou will executethe hospital's Infection Control program by conducting rounds, chart review, providing consultation, developing policies, etc. and responding to Infection Control issues throughout the hospital system. Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours, Day shift Please Note: This is a fully onsite role and applicants must be local to Lowell, MA DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Public Health, Nursing, or Behavioral Science. 2. Appropriate professional license or certification based on educational background. 3. Certified in Infection Control (CIC) OR Obtain within one (1) year of hire. 4. Three (3) years of clinical experience, including performing surveillance for health care associated infections.
