Job Description University Health Physicians and The University of Missouri-Kansas City Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) seek a BC/BE Urogynecology faculty member to join our very busy practice serving a diverse population of patients. The Urogynecology division has outpatient services at three locations and surgical access at two hospitals and one surgery center. Both hospitals are equipped with robotic services. This is primarily a clinical role with dedicated time for both research, professional engagement, and education. We recently received initial accreditation from ACGME to start a URPS fellowship. Our first fellow will begin Summer 2025. The department is seeking an eager individual passionate about teaching fellows, residents and medical students. The department is proud of its storied involvement in research an innovation that would be fostered and supported. The URPS division is actively involved in the accreta spectrum program and collaborates with Urology and General Surgery. As a tertiary referral center there is evaluation of prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, voiding dysfunction, complex fistulas, recurrent UTIs, microscopic hematuria, and pelvic floor disorders. We seek a candidate competent in urodynamics and in office procedures such as Cystoscopy with Botox. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and clinical acumen to join our growing division. The UMKC SOM Department of OB/GYN has a fully accredited residency program as well as an accredited maternal-fetal medicine fellowship program, Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with background. |
