The Administrative Program Coordinator is responsible for the strategic oversight, coordination, and execution of all organizational events at NYU Tulsa, as well as managing community engagement initiatives. This role also encompasses the leadership and efficient management of day-to-day office operations. The position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to ensure the seamless planning and execution of events and the smooth functioning of office operations. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and community partners to achieve operational success, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and standards.



Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Education, International Affairs, Event Management, etc.) or the equivalent.

Required Experience:
1+ years of experience in an office administration, higher education, nonprofit or foundation administration, or event management role. Experience in planning and implementing administrative activities in an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years Experience with overseeing events, managing social media, CMS and international education highly favorable. Experience living, studying or working in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Solid organizational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to prioritize projects with attention to detail. Proactive with excellent problem solving and communication skills. Self-motivated and with a high level of initiative. Excellent intercultural and interpersonal communications skills. Ability to identify and prioritize assignments to ensure deadlines are met and review work for accuracy. Ability to market programs, solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Energetic and results oriented Collaborative team member Flexible and patient (adaptable in a fast-changing environment) Proven writing and editing skills: the ability to draft memos & letters, create and manage websites, etc. Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel Working knowledge of various software applications including HTML, web programming, Excel, and PowerPoint Good knowledge of academic policies and procedures
