We are currently hiring
Technical Nurse Consultants to assist our post-acute clients with regulatory compliance, risk assessments and clinical system quality improvement in accordance with state and federal requirements.
If you have a solid regulatory, risk assessment and clinical background - we would love for you to join our team. Our consultants are compensated on an hourly basis and may qualify for Pathway's robust benefit package, as well as incentives!
Hourly pay range of $45-$50/hr. DOQ plus benefits!
Position Summary:
- Work with clients to identify improvement opportunities with respect to regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and clinical systems for post-acute care settings.
- Assist the client with assessing, planning, developing, and implementing systems, processes and other needs as requested.
- Provide written reports as requested in a timely manner.
- Maintain current working knowledge of applicable state and federal standards, regulations, and industry standards of proactive and professional practice guidelines.
- Functions within scope of work as defined by the client.
- Maintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations.
- Must be flexible for travel within the state which may require overnight stays.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with 3-5 years working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care Facility (LTC) as a Director of Nursing, Clinical Director, Regulatory Compliance Director or Clinical Reimbursement Specialist.
- 3-5 years' experience in MDS Coding in a SNF/LTC facility. AANAC RAC- CT (Resident Assessment Coordinator Certification) may be required.
- Knowledge of reimbursement and billing regulations, Medicaid/Medicare and state nursing home documentation requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-service orientation.
