Description
This is a Full-Time Summer Internship lasting about 8 weeks. We will pay students $20.00 per hour and provide housing while completing the internship. This internship is based out of our corporate office in Vancouver, WA, and students will also be able to spend some time at our other locations such as Oregon, and Montana. JOB SUMMARY This position is an opportunity for college students to seek knowledge and experience in the Grain Industry. This program will include a structured work schedule, exposure to leadership, a mentor, and learning opportunities. Exposure to the origination of grains and oilseeds, purchase negotiation and contracting, logistics management, and delivery of purchased grain from the country elevators to the export terminal. Will evaluate how marketing plans are created with producers utilizing UGC marketing tools and advisory services via the Profit Partner Program (need to include a trademark logo). This opportunity is supported by our Merchandising staff, Logistics Managers, and Elevator Managers with regular communication so that a full spectrum of our business is presented. This position will require interns to maintain a positive, forthright attitude that promotes a collaborative, respectful, and diverse corporate culture, and to conduct themselves professionally and favorably.
