What we are looking for

SCS Field Services has an immediate opening for an entry/mid-level Data Analyst to work on a wide variety of landfill gas (LFG) projects including, LFG Construction, Operations, Monitoring and Maintenance (OM&M) and Landfill Renewable Energy (RNG). You will be based out of our M West Valley City, UT office.



How you can make an impact

    Follow procedures related to SCS' Quality Management System and related QA/QC activities.
  • Review data collected by our field technicians and uploaded into our eTools data base.
  • Collect, compile, organize and provide analysis of data for projects using statistical techniques.
  • Prepare reports including tabulated data, data calculations, charts, graphs and figures for clients and regulatory agency submittals.
  • Regulatory compliance tracking and scheduling.
  • Assist with creating drawings and maps using geospatial data.
  • Electronic filing of documents and data.
  • Provide support as needed to our field, administrative, and management team.
  • Manage and prioritize several assignments at one time, while ensuring delivery within specific deadlines.
  • Queries, report writing and present findings.
  • Ability to work during core and extended hours as required to meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings via Teams or in person to present data review, analysis and trends to clients.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required. Experience with environmental regulations relating to air, water and solid waste is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.). Mastery over Excel analysis functions and lookup functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX and Match).
  • AutoCAD experience or experience with geospatial data is preferred
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing.
  • Ability for limited travel to various sites in the region.


Pay Range

USD $21.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
