Design a career and build your future... Because it matters! McMillen is currently looking for a professional Project Electrical Engineer to join our growing organization. Qualified applicants will have 5-8 years of experience providing electrical engineering support for at least one of these various water resource projects including hydropower plants, dams, spillways, gate structures, pump storage, fish hatcheries, and water treatment facilities. Services performed may include electrical and control systems for water control structures such as dams, spillways, intakes and outlets, pipelines, and penstocks. Special interest is placed on experience designing for generators and excitation systems; generator auxiliary systems; generator buses; generator circuit breakers; unit step-up transformers; medium and high voltage switchyards; power plant substations; balance of plant electrical systems such as medium and low voltage switchgear, motor control centers, DC battery systems, backup generators, relay protection and control systems; grounding and lighting systems. The preferred location for this position is in Boise, Seattle, Denver, Sacramento, or Portland, but will consider remote or hybrid arrangements depending on experience. Responsibilities:
