What You Will Do * Field plan and estimate work activities in process areas using equipment history, subject matter expert knowledge and proven planning methods to support safe and efficient work execution * Applying codes, standards, and reliability strategies for the planning of maintenance activities * Building job packages in Maximo and Procore for daily, turnarounds and outages with accurate estimates, duration and material needed * Conduct field job package walks with internal and external execution resources to validate and align on completed job plan estimates * Support integration of outage work packages into a prioritize and optimized execution schedule * Reviewing post job results to determine effectiveness and implementing actions to improve planning efforts * Building preventative maintenance plans to influence plant reliability * Managing and coordinating contractors during outages * Training/Mentoring maintenance on planning, work processes, outage support roles, etc. * Identifying, facilitating, and driving continuous transformation through technology and new ways of conducting day to day business in the maintenance and outage space * Have excellent understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety practices and procedures and factor into planning for all work * Assist in daily maintenance tasks: * Electrical work on installation of new services, trouble shooting, grounding and repairs. * Installation and preventive maintenance on variable frequency drives, electric motors, motor control centers and mechanical relay services. * Calibration and repairs of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation for indication on controls and safety systems. * Perform general maintenance work, such as valve replacement, torquing of flanges on piping, and heat exchanger work. Physical Requirements: * Climb stairs, ladders, ladders on vessels and columns, ladders associated with scaffolds in excess of 100 feet * Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push and pull up to 50 lbs. * Work in hot, cold, and inclement climate conditions * Required to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, FR Clothing, acid suits, breathing air, gloves, safety boots, respirators, ACR Flash suits, and encapsulated suits. PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task * Work in confined spaces with supplied breathing air and congested areas, when needed Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience with industrial turnaround/construction work package development * Experience with PLC, calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, and installing instrumentation or electrical equipment * Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel * Ability to read and understand technical documents (e.g., P&IDs/Schematics/Isometric fabrication drawings, engineering specifications, etc.) and translate into a construction plan. What Will Put You Ahead * Experience planning Rotating, Fixed, Electrical or instrumentation plans. * Working knowledge with planning or estimate software program(s) * Working knowledge of Maximo/Mobile Maximo * Experience working in a chemical, refining or industrial setting At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
