Molex's Commercial and Consumer Solutions (CCS) Division is seeking an entrepreneurial individual to be a key member of our Product Management (PM) team located in Chicago, IL.

The new product development manager owns the product roadmap from concept to closure: identifying market opportunities, collecting VOC, establishing requirements, justifying value and investments, and driving product development process through to flawless launch. Product development PMs operate as Principled Entrepreneurs working between Molex's external customers, Molex's global sales force, the product engineering functions, finance, and operations.

Our Team

You will be working within the low power and signal segment of the power and signal business unit, Molex's most profitable segment. The low power segment operates as two parts of one whole: existing product portfolio team which consists of product managers driving the core product strategy, and new product development team which drives new innovations for our segment.

What You Will Do
* Engage closely with business development managers, sales team, and external customers to source VOC for product innovations and contribute to internal market POVs
* Develop business plans and justifications for product extensions, enhancements, and innovations which align with our focus markets and all-in customers, with support from finance and operations teams
* Drive NPI pipeline working closely with project management, product design (engineering), and operations teams

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
* 2+ years experience in technical sales
* 2+ years experience in product management

What Will Put You Ahead
* 5+ years experience in technical sales
* 5+ years experience in product management
* Experience as a product manager in the connectors/electronics industry
