POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Afognak Leasing, LLC a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporartion has a P/T Facilities & Marketing Superintendent opportunity. The Facilities & Marketing Superintendent is responsiblefor the support of business development and operational activities for Afognak Leasing, LLC including leasing remote facilities, pads and equipment in Alaska and Lower 48 states. Rotational position primarily located in Prudhoe Bay. Oversees Afognak Leasing's remote assets in Alaska, including performing service contracts (as directed or required), engaging in business development activities, assisting in supervisory role of remote facility personnel when needed, logistics and material movement coordination as needed, and special projects as directed by Director of Operations.



  • Perform daily inspections of all Afognak's camp assets and associated properties when on-site inPrudhoe Bay.
  • Ensure all assets are secure, and in clean condition, free of any potential mildew, ready for client site visits and showings when cold stacked.
  • Ensure all assets are maintained, per client and Company policy while operating in the field.
  • Supervise and support Camp Managers/Maintenance personnel working at operating remote facilities as needed, to ensure client and Company policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Provide daily operational reports with activity to Director of Operations and President while in Prudhe Bay.
  • Interface with President and Director of Operations regarding business development opportunities, including maintaining a tracking spreadsheet for those opportunities.
  • Develop and contact new clients to pursue sales opportunities and new business lines.
  • Maintain positive relationships and communication with core clients for continued business and new opportunities.
  • Attending meetings and industry events as needed.
  • Pad maintenance including equipment operating for snow removal, when required.
  • Assists President in developing strategies towards marketing and sales efforts.
  • Perform special projects as requested by Director of Operations.
  • Drafts business plans and completes cost estimating for new lines of business with the Director of Operations and President.
  • Participates in the development of proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Assists with mobilization and demobilizations if needed.
  • Expedite materials to and from remote locations as needed.


Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Able to entertain clients and vendors during business and after normal business hours.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Payrate:$35.00 to $45.00 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Skills:



  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • 10 years' minimum North Slope oil and gas experience.
  • Current personal and business contacts with oil and gas project decision makers operating in the greater Prudhoe Bay area.
  • 10 years facilities management experience.
  • 10 years' experience in logistics or contracting.
  • 10 years' equipment operating experience.
  • NSTC training.


Preferred Education and Experience:



  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Customer service/interface background
  • Class A CDL.


Work Environment:



  • Arctic outdoor work environment and indoor office environments.
