Weekend AM Quality Supervisor

(Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

6:00AM-6:00PM

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Weekend PM Quality Supervisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of quality processes, conducting inspections, leading the Quality Team, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure all finished products meet Masters Gallery Foods and customer quality standards and specifications.



  • Coordinate, schedule and manage a team of Quality Lead/Auditors, Quality Technicians, and Quality Testers, providing leadership, training and guidance.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to management on quality performance.
  • Oversee quality of finished product produced at the facility.
  • Oversee Production and Quality Audits on quality checks and procedures.
  • Train new employees on Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and assist with annual GMP review.
  • Oversee extended run process.
  • Assist plant management in trouble shooting quality issues.
  • Train and familiarize all employees with quality management and standards, as well as facilitate monthly meetings.
  • Assist with managing and issuing production non-conformances. Establish corrective actions and preventive controls.
  • Oversee quality systems to satisfy internal and customer requirements to include process evaluation, sanitation programs, product labeling, product storage, and distribution.
  • Assist with Quality meetings and facilitate as needed.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to plant personnel by understanding regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving customer complaints related to quality products.
  • Assist with the Pest Control Program.
  • Monitor, review, and signoff as Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) on preventative controls.
  • Develop and implement controlled documents.
  • Assist with the Calibration Program.
  • Drive and lead the "right the first time" process control approach.
  • Oversee MSLOTO training and personnel SOP Audits.
  • Effectively manage sanitation process, quality compliance, checklists, and other needed functions in Redzone.
  • Provide backup and support for Quality Lead/Auditors, Quality Technicians, or Quality Testers as needed basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager, Director of Quality Systems, Vice President - Operations, or Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Systems.


What You Can Offer




  • Associate Degree in Food Service, Quality Systems, or equivalent experience. Yellow Belt Certification highly preferred.



  • Four years of progressively responsible quality experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred. Six Sigma experience preferred.


  • Knowledge of AOAC approved methods for cheese testing.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
  • Ability to act as a direct liaison between general production and management regarding quality issues.
  • Knowledge of the ERP computer system and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to assess quality and be firm in decisions.
  • Provide support to the Grading and Lab Department as needed.
  • Possess or willingness to obtain a Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Cheese License for American Cheese.
  • Provide support to the Quality Team at all Masters Gallery Foods' facility locations as needed.
