AV Technician II
Steptoe LLP, a Washington, DC-based Am Law 100 firm, is actively seeking an AV Technician II to provide hands-on AV and level 1 technical support by partnering with the Epiq Site Manager for conference room support to resolve technical issues and supporting the Technology Center in a level 1 deskside support role in our Windows 11 environment.
- Sets up and takes down equipment for events hosted in the conference rooms.
- Operates, maintains, repairs, and adjusts AV equipment and instruments including, but not limited to Lapel microphones, handheld microphones, wall mounted cameras/speakers and Crestron panel technology.
- Sets up WebEx, Zoom, and Teams meetings hosted in our conference rooms.
- Resolves as many AV and level 1 deskside support incidents during the first contact and escalates incidents to a higher tier, as necessary.
- Documents incident status and solutions in Service Now tickets and Knowledge Base articles.
- Works with outside vendors for maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Advises on the use, limitations, design and construction of instruments and equipment.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- AV industry certifications a plus.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of AV support experience required.
- Law Firm/Professional Services experience a plus.

Work Environment
- Non-Smoking environment.
- Available to work in the office 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
- Extra weekday and weekend hours may be required for special programs or events.
- Must be available to work beyond regular hours when necessary.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $57,000 - $66,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
