The Critical Care Faculty member will serve as one of three clinical specialists at St. Joseph's University Hospital-Paterson, NJ. Additionally, the hospital-based clinical pharmacy team is comprised of a Clinical Pharmacy Manager and nine clinicians in the areas of Critical Care, Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine, Behavioral Health, and Cardiology as well as four PGY1 pharmacy residents. Pharmacy services are provided throughout the institution in both inpatient and outpatient settings via centralized and decentralized operations utilizing an integrated
EMR and automation.
The Critical Care faculty member will focus his/her practice as a member of the multidisciplinary team serving the St. Joseph's Health System. The faculty member will have an active role on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee and be involved in the education of medical, nursing and pharmacy staff (including pharmacy residents), protocol/guideline/policy development, and participating in Code Blue response.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed at least two years of residency training or equivalent experience. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey. |
Certifications/Licenses |
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey. Board Certification
in Pharmacotherapy any the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (
BCPS), or other relevant board certification, is expected within two years of hire. |
