We are currently looking for experienced, motivated, and creative individuals to fill a Completions Engineer position within our OxyRock asset in Midland, TX.

Responsibilities:

* This Completions Engineer is responsible for providing engineering, operations, regulatory, and supply chain management support for all exploration, appraisal, and development well work. The work must be conducted in a safe, legal, environmentally responsible, and effective manner.

* Responsible for well completion procedures, associated well cost estimates, and well design changes for assigned wells.

* Will act as on-site company representative for frac and drillout operations, working in rotation with other team members (70% field/30% office split).

* Supervise daily completions operations and coordinate all related logistics from rig release to first production in a way that optimizes asset value.

* Technically capable of designing and managing high profile and challenging projects, including exploration wells, either individually or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

* Collaborate with other completions, drilling, production, and reservoir engineers as a team to develop specific and complex well plans.

* Conduct basin-wide data well analysis, risk assessments, and optimization plans that could be applied to a broader field development plan.

* Complete cost analysis on well completion designs, operational reviews, and project lookbacks.

* Assist with the timely procurement of material, equipment, and personnel. Review and approve invoices for accuracy.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.

* Risk Management skills, including knowledge of risk assessment and management of change.

* Knowledge of HESMS and applicable governmental regulations.

* Contractor performance management skills.

* Understanding of hydraulic fracturing operations, decline curve analysis, and data analytics.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

* Familiarity with Spotfire, PowerBI, Enverus preferred

* Familiarity with Midland Basin preferred

* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Good presentation skills.

* Experience mentoring junior staff.
