LinQuest is seeking a GPS Digital Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. (Hybrid in person and telework is possible)

LinQuest is seeking an Engineer with technical experience in GPS User Equipment (UE) to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Enterprise Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) team. The PNT Enterprise SE&I Team provides engineering, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support for the Global Positioning System (GPS).

PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to gather and translate business requirements into actionable data solutions, develop interactive dashboards, perform data transformation and modeling, and provide support and training to ensure effective use of data-driven insights across the organization.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into actionable data solutions using Power BI.
  • Develop and design interactive dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and visual appeal to support decision-making.
  • Perform data transformation, data modeling, and data cleaning using Power BI tools (Power Query, DAX) to prepare data for analysis.
  • Integrate Power BI solutions with other Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline workflows and automate business processes.
  • Optimize Power BI performance, managing report refresh schedules, managing Workspaces and Apps, and ensuring efficient data retrieval from various sources.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training to end-users, ensuring proper adoption and effective use of Power BI solutions.



Required Skills & Experience:



    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
    • 5+ years of related experience
    • Intermediate to advanced skillset in Power BI
    • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft's Power Platform, business intelligence, relational databases and data sciences
    • Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
    • Ability to obtain an active DoD secret clearance is required to be considered for this position



    Preferred Experience:



    • Intermediate to advanced skillset in Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, data science, database management, and business intelligence
    • Familiarity with data governance and best practices for data security and compliance
    • Experience and familiarity working with DoD organizations


    Compensation:



    • Starting salary ranges from $110,000 to $115,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
