Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Student Program Coordinator for the School of Nursing. The Senior Student Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily practical application of School of Nursing policy and serves as the front line for students within all graduate programs within the School of Nursing. The Senior Student Program Coordinator forms relationships with representatives of various academic and student services departments within Rutgers University and refers students to those departments as necessary.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Coordinates the orientation programs for all graduate students and contributes to the planning and implementation of all other Office of Student Affairs programs and graduate student organizations.
- Plans developmental programming specific to graduate students' needs in collaboration with specialty directors and graduate faculty.
- Tracks and resolves student issues independently while using professional judgment to determine when issues should be escalated.
- Aware of communications and ongoing policy changes within the Rutgers School of Nursing and provides student guidance as needed.
- Responsible for graduate students' students of concern referrals and inquiries.
- Works collaboratively with the Assistant Dean to address and manage trends that have been tracked proactively through data to proactively plan programs and processes with multiple campus partners.
