Job Description
The Lab Services Coordinator assumes primary responsibility for maintaining personnel files and records for all department staff, assuring they meet regulatory standards related to licensure, education and background screenings. This position provides support for all aspects of human resources, payroll, education, orientation and staffing/scheduling activities related to the department staff. This position provides clerical, typing, administrative and scheduling assistance for director, clinical manager and assistant clinical managers. This position responsible for all payroll activities for laboratory payroll. The Lab Services Coordinator oversees the Baptist Hospital's courier service. This includes staff scheduling, monitoring and scheduling routine auto/truck maintenance, manage up team member performance, coach couriers and client services on how to build and sustain loyalty with our clients, assist with repairs and purchasing new vehicles, manage courier routes and nursing home stat team usage to minimize taxi expense, coordinate courier needs of other departments (payroll, BMG, imagining, pharmacy, IS, administration), promote positive departmental morale. This position provides support for hospital wide initiatives like the OP-ambulatory surgery patient experience team and taxi usage. Responsibilities
