Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Conyers, GA

What we're looking for:

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design, draw and plan the manufacturing, installation and functionality of electrical systems and controls utilized in the electrical energy portion of commercial refrigeration systems.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

  • Develop electrical specifications for new refrigeration products.
  • Lead electrical cost out projects of existing refrigeration racks systems without loss of quality or function.
  • Modify existing and create new AutoCAD electrical schematic drawings, as well as Bills of Material for jobs.
  • Interface with Inside Sales, Engineering and Production teams to design and engineer refrigeration equipment.
  • Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Design plans and accurately document the manufacturing, installation, and operation of electric or electronic components, equipment, systems, and machinery.
  • Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial and industrial refrigeration uses.
  • Design, construct, and test prototype equipment for electrical functionality.
  • Interpret blueprints and layouts to verify and plan appropriate electrical needs.
  • Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, and installation conform to customer requirements.
  • Evaluates, tests, documents result and modifies experimental equipment, concepts, and systems.
  • Prepare and correlate short- and long-term engineering plans and programs for design, construction, or alteration of activities.
  • Formulate and recommend engineering policies and technical work in accordance with project objectives.
  • Approve process specification and design standards.
  • Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Experience with software and controls applications, able to write algorithms, deploy and debug application and document for internal and external use.

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • 1+ years of experience in the refrigeration industry

  • Working knowledge of NEC.
