Description

TRISTAR is seeking a Software Developer 4 (Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) Expert User/ Software Developer) for our government customer in Bloomington, IN,

  • The Marine Corps requires a better way of utilizing data in tactical environments
  • The current ability to quickly publish or consume data is hampered by legacy systems and complex point-to-point interfaces
  • Changing this requires the architecting, deploying, and creating operating constructs to enable data for the new TAK-based C2PC replacement

Position Responsibilities:

  • Setup and management of TAK development lab
  • Setup and management of TAK server
  • Correlate stated user needs to current TAK plug ins
  • Identify gaps for necessary TAK-based C2PC replacement development
  • Support new TAK-based C2PC replacement software development
  • Assist with requirements development
Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience as both a software architect and software developer
  • Experience with ATAK, TAKX, TAK Server, and TAK ecosystem
  • Experience with C2 systems or systems that work on Marine Corps networks and with other information systems
  • Joint Tactical COP Workstation (JTCW), including Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC)
  • GCCS, AFATDS
  • Experience with developing native Android applications would be useful
  • Experience working across cross-functional product teams
  • Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation with an attention to detail
  • MUST have Military Experience
  • MUST be a US Citizen
  • Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Security Plus certification required before start date
