Overview

TRC is seeking a Power Platform Engineer / Data Analyst to join our team in the San Ramon, CA office. This position will be responsible for guiding the reporting for multi-projects, with high visibility and business impact. Our Business Analysts are responsible for research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in support of business decision making, business strategy and business operations. These resources may also be involved in business process improvement, quality control and special projects and other initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Create and manage Power Apps to automate and streamline business processes.
  • Utilize Power Automate to build workflows and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all Power Platform solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power Platform tools and solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Power Platform and related technologies.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, and data modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Solid understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, etc.).
  • Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, or Dynamics 365.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
