Position Summary

The Law Enforcement Channel Manager will oversee and coordinate all operational and program management processes and activities related to the law enforcement channel. This position will be responsible for driving FN law enforcement growth by improving our value chain and professional end-user experience.

Business Management

  • Creates and manages a channel plan designed to drive growth and improve LE customer centricity.
  • Identifies and recruits new value chain partners.
  • Creates and manages all aspects of law enforcement demand planning and S&OP process.
  • Promotes, supports, and advocates the law enforcement mission, strategy, and goals to key internal stakeholders.
  • Improves relationships with strategic business partners, leveraging relationships to increase market share.
  • Analyzes market trends and value chain performance to improve strategies and accelerate growth.
  • Oversees the law enforcement agency order process ensuring that products are produced and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Tracks new and used firearm shipments along with agency training schedules to ensure shipments and payments comply with the law enforcement contract terms.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders in support of armorer class registration, attendee certifications, and tuition fees.

Contracts Management

  • Acts as primary customer contact for law enforcement contracts, vendor agreements, and strategic law enforcement agencies.
  • Partners with the contracts team, along with other departments, regarding contract negotiations, requirements, and changes to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with FN contracting team to prepare responses to the Federal solicitations and requests for information and proposal.
  • Ensures contract requirements are executed in accordance with appropriate regulations and company policies and procedures (e.g., federal acquisition regulations).
  • Teams with FN internal stakeholders, including business leaders, compliance, legal, product management, and engineering (R&D), to ensure success of programs.
  • Coordinates and draft law enforcement proposals, business plans, and monthly performance reports.

Sales Growth Activities

  • Manages all aspects of law enforcement test and evaluation program including return of firearms after the police agencies have concluded their testing.
  • Assists with the development of comprehensive product business plans for executive review and approval.
  • Maintains a proficient technical level of expertise on existing and future products that correspond with the evolving law enforcement market.
  • Collects and documents voice of customer information via direct customer engagements.
  • Travels as needed to support trade shows, industry events, and strategic customers.
  • Provides weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports tracking overall LE performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required.

Experience

Three years of previous experience in channel management or sales roles required.

Tools

Microsoft Office suite including Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (advanced knowledge). Proficiency with SAP. CRM tools with a preference for Salesforce.

Working Conditions

Position is performed in a typical office environment. Domestic travel (15%) is required.
