SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist in our Solar group to oversee the California/Southwest region to support and interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Environmental Specialist will support Mortenson's environmental management efforts for Civil, Solar, Wind, and High Voltage Transmission Groups' projects throughout North America, providing review of environmental documentation, and advising on environmental matters in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures. NOTE: This position will require travel of 50% or more. Preferred candidate will live in or near California or nearby region OR have the ability to travel extensively to support the region. RESPONSIBILITIES Implement Mortenson's environmental program for simple to moderately complex project sites and promulgate environmental compliance of construction activities. Essential requirements:

EDUCATION:
The base compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000. This position is eligible for a potential annual bonus. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
