Description

LinQuest is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. An active TS/SCI is required.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Regularly interface with customers (civilian contractors, SSC (BZ, DC), USSF (SWAC, SPOC, SSDP, SF/T&E, other governmental agencies) at various customer sites to provide technical support, process development support and on orbit planning support.
  • Support spans planning, integration execution and feedback phases of the life cycle of Experiments, Demonstrations & Prototypes.
  • Develop technical studies in support of various space missions, to include payload studies and analyses, and review of technical documentation for stakeholders.
  • Analyze and access scientific and technical developments, cybersecurity policy compliance, and acquisition activities within space industry.
  • Communicate the technical requirements of spacecraft missions, payloads, integration, and sustainment while identifying programmatic risk and risk mitigation strategies.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • 10+ years directly applicable experience
  • Experience with spacecraft payload systems, and Demonstration & Prototype payloads.
  • Experienced with leading spacecraft development activities.
  • Systems Engineering, to include ground system development and integration
  • Able to develop on orbit planning CONOPS to maximize the accomplishment of mission objectives for each payload on an assigned mission.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer relationship and technical skills.
  • Ability to develop solutions for complex technical issues with limited supervision.
  • Masters Degree and Technical Bachelor's degree
  • US Citizenship and a TS/SCI Security Clearance are required for the position


Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $100,000 to $120,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
